I have a compustar CS800-S with a fortin INT-SL+, hooked it up and went through the program procedure and can't get the module to go to the key on LED blinking portion, it will start with the remote but shut off right away

Did you follow connection 2 in the guide? are you using data link or without data link? If you are using data link is your remote start capable of Fortin protocol? are you hitting lock during the programming as specified to enable the data link protocol? I would also check the yellow wire on the intsl+ that's the ignition input for the module if it doesn't see ignition on it wont blink...

the Fortin came with the compustar and i am using the data link, I do push the lock button while programming, the diagram in plan 2 while using data link shows the yellow wire as no connection, should it be hooked up to ignition?
Sorry i ment the pink wire...is the pink wire connected to ignition? and did you test it to ensure its actually an ignition source?
yes the pink is hooked to ignition, I just double checked and it has ignition power
Meter your obd2 wire what is the voltage at the intsl+? also what pin did you connect it too?
Did you also try updating the module to newer firmware?
I may have it, I wasn't holding the lock button while turning on the key, did that and the LED was blinking but now the battery is dead in the truck and only rolled over twice so it's on charge and I'll try it in a bit, thanks for the help, I'll let you know if it works. By the way when you go to wirecolor.com and pick the 2003 sierra 2500 it has pictures and diagrams for the 1999 to 2002 which was different then mine, couldn't find the park light + wire
