Not sure if you got your answer but that happens on every GM when ignition is not getting power upon remote start. Either due to a connection problem or the DLIS fuse being popped.

I did not get my answer.  The remotes start works but when I enter the truck and insert the key the engine dies and I have to restart with the key.
Did you ever find an answer to this, mine is doing the same thing
For any GM that the vehicle shuts off when the key is inserted, this is due to vehicle not getting powered correctly at the ignition switch (ignition circuit). This is either a connection issue or the dlis fuse is popped.

Please open a new thread and include vehicle make, model, year along with the products installed including the service number of the evo module for further troubleshooting.
