Brake kill not working

0 votes
Evo-All, CHR5 T-Harness, Crimestopper RS7-G5, 2007 Jeep Patriot Limited (4x4) 2.4L w/ automatic transmission.

Remote start works, as does lock/unlock, from ALL REMOTES (2 factory key/remotes and Crimestoper remotes). The brake kill without the key in and turned is not working. I literally drove the vehicle around the block with NO keys even I the vehicle.

Also, key take-over not working. If remote started, and key put in and turned to run, 2-way remote still chirping and showing that the run time timer is still going.

try hooking up the evo brake output wire (black wire 20 pin connector) to the brake input wire of your remote starter then re test.

That black wire is a (+) positive, when brake is applied?
Yes that black wire on the 20 pin harness is a brake output. What's the service number on the module ?

When pressing the brake pedal, does the brake light on the back of the vehicle light up ? Could be a faulty brake switch in the vehicle....
#001A06 603012 The vehicle came back today and I tried the wires y'all suggested (black on Evo and purple on Crimestopper). Still didn't help. Tied the purple from Crimestpper to (+) brake, and now engine kill and takeover works. This didn't fix the issue, as I shouldn't have to tie into brake peddle. The program is like others I've done, but this time I had to upgrade the firmware. But still no help, even tried old firmware, but still no go.
Makes sense brake did not work...The option was turned off in the evo.

This is currently how you have it set up.
