Suzuki Grand Vitara 2010, Evo all doesn’t program

0 votes
hi, I just installed an evo all with a remote start crimestopper rs4-g5 on a regular key 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara, the problem is that when I am doing the programming, it never goes beyond the fixed yellow light, (step 5) when I put  the key in on position, the bypass never changes from the yellow light, I never get to program it.  (bypass Evo all 2020) I tried programming with both keys (2 keys) and with neither function.

Your module is not flashed.

It needs to have the firmware for your vehicle loaded into it before programming in the vehicle.

This is done using the flash link updater (https://fortin.ca/en/products/accessories/flash-link_updater/) and flash link manager program (https://fortin.ca/en/support/flashlinkmanager.html).

Verify the ignition input for the evo-all (yellow wire 20 pin connector)

Also, if you unplug the red connector from the evo-all, does the car start with the key in the ignition?
I checked the yellow wire, inigtion, and it is well connected and gives 12 volts normal with the key in the start position, disconnect the red connector, and leave the key in the start cylinder and the car starts normal, What else do you think I can do?  Thank you.
Unplug the red connector and start the car using the key. Does the vehicle start?
Oh yeah, the car start normal using the key,  with the red conector unplugged from the Evo all
then you have either cut the wrong transponder wire, or your vehicle doesnt have a transponder at all.
ok I'm going to check if I cut the correct cable or not, and if the vehicle does not have a transponder, is there another type of programming or the vehicle would not need the evo-all to work with a remote starter ?
if there is no transponder you would program on just the blue led for the can bus.
