2013 g key corolla evo one no start

Ive installed evo one on a 2013 corolla g key manual transmission.

the door locks and trunk work with the fortin remotes.

when i hit the remote start button the lights turn on like it wants to start but the moteur doesnt actually turn over.

then it flashes 4x as if to say there is no tachometer signal.

also worth mentioning that ive had to enable the ready mode a few times.

ive checked my wiring and it all seems ok. what can i do.

Configure the remote starter option 2.4 and re test.

Didnt make a difference. My corolla is the TMC version manufacteured in canada so the wiring for the ignition circuit is different. I was told by a tech at fortin to eliminate the orange wire, splice the white to ignition 2 (pin 4), pink to ignition 1 (pin6), yellow to one of the start wires (pin8), and red to the 12+ (pin 7). And he told me to select 2.1.
Ah ok so you dont have 2 starters only 1 start and 2 ignitions?

If thats the case then yes 2.1.

If you hold the key next to the ignition barell and try to remote start the vehicle does it remote start?
No it doesnt. The lights on the dash all turn on but the actually started doesnt turn to crabk the motor. Then the lights flash 4 times and according to the diagnostic chart it means there is no tachometer signal?
If you test the starter wire is it actually being powered up during remote start?
Yes when i turn the key to start i get power at the yellow wire on the connector of the evo module.  Also the same result when i use the remote starter but again the actual motor doesnt crank. Also worth mentioning is i leave the vehicle for a few minutes i have to re enable "ready mode"
I just noticed if i hold the clutch down and use the remote starter then it starts. Am i missing a relay circuit or something extra that bypasses the clutch? Ive been following guid #23011
Yellow start wire should go to the clutch switch, not the ignition barrel.
