Dodge Avenger 2011 - Stand Alone Install

0 votes
Installed the EVO-ALL with THAR-CHR5 harness on a 2011 Dodge Avenger. I updated the firmware to the latest 74.23. Turned on C1 and D1 options. Programmed the unit succesfully but it does not remote start with 3x lock. I see the led flash blue when I press lock on the OEM key. I have not hooked up the Parking Light Out as of yet, but this it an output and shouldnt prevent the car from starting? Also in the instructions I don't really see where the External Input is connected to. I have tried just grounding this input with the same results. Any help would be appreciated. I have the programmer to change options. I followed instructions C for the installation.

Thanks.

Looking at that service number you provided, you have selected a Infiniti G35 2008-PTS. Can be seen here: http://fortin.ca/en/support/001A06498395/

I would suggest choosing the right year make and model re flashing the module and re programming it.

Be sure that when you plug it into the flash link program that in the bottom right hand corner it says CONNECTION MODE:BYPASS

I had changed a few of the options and was trying to set the defaults. I changed the vehicle to a G35 in an attempt that when I reselected the Dodge Avenger 2011 it would have all the defaults settings enabled. I guess I forgot to set it back the last time. Could you please recheck my service number that its correct and I have the correct settings for a Stand-Alone remote start?

All Looks ok now...Re program the module to the vehicle. I would also suggest before any of this a master reset. Here is how its done: http://wirecolor.com/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

Once youve reset it you will have to turn back on options C1 and D1
