2012 Ford Focus Titanium Push-To-Start

+1 vote
I want to install the Evo-All in my '12 Ford Focus Titanium that has the Push-to-Start button feature.  Will this unit work with my car?  Does it come with everything needed?  And is it really as simple to install as people make it sound?  Lastly, I only have one OEM key fob.  Are two key fobs required to properly program?

If the car is a manual transmission then no the evo-all with not work. you will require a seperate remote starter capabale of bypassing the clutch.

If it is a automatic then yes you can use the evo-all but you will require the flash link updater 2 to enable the proper options for stand alone (3x lock on oem remote) as well as to perform the decryptor process.

The vehicle can be programmed with one key.

Their is no T-harness available for this vehicle at this point in time so it will have to be done wire by wire for the connections.

You could use the evo one as well it is a remote starter and bypass in one unit! and could be enabled for 3x lock start. Or you could purchase a seperate rf kit for longer range.

In either case you will require the flash link updater 2.

Thanks Derek.  My car is in fact an automatic so we're good there.  I probably should have clarified that a little better.

On the T-harness, I'm not sure I want to go wire-by-wire to splice in.  On one youtube video I watched, the installed the Evo with the T-harness into a Ford Focus similar to mine but without the push-to-start feature.  The only splice that had to be done was on the Can-High and Can-Low wires.  Is the push-to-start feature the reason why there's no T-harness?
Yes infact it is. The 2012 focus key model has a T-harness availible. Unfortunatly at this point in time the push to start does not have an available T-Harness.
Thanks for the information Derek.  I really appreciate it!
