Evo-all 3xLock Sets off Factory Alarm

+1 vote
I recently purchased and installed and EVO-All in my 2010 Dodge Charger. (Very quick and easy to do BTW)

I'm using the 3x Lock to start the vehicle option. When I do this, it trips the factory alarm and the vehicle's horm starts beeping repeated (alarm trip).

I thought this module would by-passed the factory alarm, why is it tripping the factory alarm on start and what can I do to prevent this?

Also, I don't have the programmer, I ordered it pre-programmed for standaone mode.

Thanks, and help would be greatly appreciated.

Theres an option you need to turn on.. It's called "Unlock before/ Relock after start". The car itself disarms with unlock.

Since you do not have a flash link, you can try this extra step while programming. After turning the key on and while the blue led is flashing, ground for 1-sec the purple/white wire of the EVO; turn the key off afterwards and continue on with the programming procedure.
