module is reset

If you are doing the TB-VW install, please flash 64.06.

If you a doing a key wrap install, use the 61.xx firwmares (there is no dcryptor for that)

Considering the amount of times the unit was flashed and programmed prior, please make sure to do a hard reset. Without it, anything programmed from the beginning stays in the module.

  1. Hold down programming button while inserting the power.
  2. Let go of button when the LED is RED
  3. Push and Hold the programming button until all three LED start to alternate rapidly
  4. Module is now reset.

Some other pointers.

1- Enable 18.5, not 18.3

2- Check the brake lights, all three need to be turning on when remote starting. If the center light is not turning on, the wrong wire was grabbed for brake. There are typically wires that test as brake, only one of those will power up all the lights.
