2009 Kia Optima - EVO-ONE - Unable to acquire Can Bus data - Blue LED does not flash

2009 Kia Optima w/ Standard Key.  EVO-ONE with T-Harness and latest Firmware.  No PATS (No Immobilizer).  Using Guide #60931 and Program #2 (Vehicle without PATS data wire).

I've tried everything, and cannot acquire the Can Bus data.  Blue LED goes off instead of flashing rapidly when key is turned to the on/run position, and comes back on solid when the key is turn off.

I've double and triple-checked all wiring.  All connections are soldered and pass continuity checks.

Yellow wire (A1) is connected to Pink wire (E5) on the T-Harness as shown in the Wiring Guide.

OBD-II connector Pin 6 (White wire) is connected to Gray wire (C3) and measures 2.7 VDC.

OBD-II connector Pin 14 (Black wire) is connected to Grey/Black wire (C4) and measures 2.3 VDC.

I reversed the connections to C3 and C4 with the same results: No flashing Blue LED.

Can anyone provide some guidance on what else to do to get this working?

Thank you.

If can bus won't program simply skip that programming and just enable option 20.2 tachless in the remote starter of your evo-one.

Can bus only provides tach on this specific vehicle, by endabling tachless you can get around the blue le programming.

Thank you for the information, Derek.

I was aware of the 20.2 tachless option, but my concern is why it's failing to see the Can Bus on my vehicle.  I'm wondering if I might have a defective EVO-ONE unit, as I can connect successfully to the Can Bus using my Bluetooth OBD-II Adapter.

I was also hoping that door locks and the factory hood pin would also be provided on the Can Bus.  The Dealer programmed my door locks through the Can Bus a few months ago so only the Driver's door opens on the first turn of the key, and all doors open on the second turn, so I believe door lock control is available on the Can Bus.

If that's not the case, where can I find wiring diagrams for my particular vehicle to make all the necessary connections for door locks, factory hood pin, trunk, etc.?

Thank you.
The only status through can-bus on your vehicle is tach.

All other features if you want them (door locks, footbrake, door pins etc) all must be hardwired. That is why i suggested using 20.2 because it solves your issue rather easily.

Information for hardwiring the connections can be found on wirecolor.com
