If you need (+) outputs, you will need a relay. Those outputs exist incase the main harness does not have enough outputs to cover a vehicles ignition switch or for completely other purposes. It doesnt look like you will need those on the 2003 Highlander.

You need to..

1- Find out what circuits are required on the vehicles ignition switch. most likely ignition1, ignition2, accessory, start.

2- wire accordingly the evo main harness to the vehicle.

if you connected those outputs to something it would explain why your module blew from the other post :D
Okay thank you. Can give me the steps how to program ftxduo on an evo one. I m confused i see lots of programming and im not sure what one to use.

Do you have the EVO-START2 antenna that goes with that FTXDUO?

Take a look at page 2 of this guide for pairing instructions. https://fortin.ca/download/70001/ftxduo-install-guide-70001.pdf

Just saw your location. The EVO-START2 is not available in your area. You could technically still get the evo-start2 with FTXDUO remote but i honestly dont see the point :D  https://www.evo-start.ca/home

The RFK642 or 641 might be a better choice. https://fortin.ca/en/technology/rf_kits.html

Would it be better the if i use evo - start2 rather than evo one?

evo-start2 is an antenna that can only be used in parts of Quebec and ontario. It plugs into the EVO-ONE. It runs on a private data network. It's an app based telematics antenna to control lock-unlock-start from your phone. The optional companion remote to that antenna is the FTXDUO. Using the FTXDUO remote gives you confirmation on your phone when the car starts. But as i said, the service for EVO-START2 is available in Quebec and Ontario only. No reason to buy the EVO-START2 + FTXDUO if you are out of the coverage zone.

You need the EVO-ONE, it's the main controller. How you control, tell it what to do, is up to you. Any of the remotes we list, aside from the EVO-START2 and FTXDUO, would be good to go https://fortin.ca/en/technology/rf_kits.html
