EVO-ALL wont start Jeep Compass 2013

Question

Ive installed he  EVO-ALL   EVO-CHRT5 in a 2013 jeep compass.   The unit fais to start the Jeep.  Do i need to wire the yellow wire to a ignition wire from the 20 pin connector in order for this to work.   The leds all show that it should work according to the C procedure in the installation  handbook.  Hardware version is 6. Firmware version is 4.18. Date is 11/2013 type 2.   Thanks Ken

Hi Ken,

The yellow wire should only be conencted the yellow wire on tharness.

Personally, i have a feeling that the stand alone option is not turned on in the EVO. I can check this if you give me the 12 digit service number writtten on the back of the EVO-ALL.
