EVO-ONE + THAR-ONE-SUB1 for 2018 CrossTrek

0 votes
I just purchased a 2018 CrossTrek Premium regular key with EyeSight.  Just want to verify that the EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-SUB1 T Harness is compatible with the new model year and the 2017 wiring information from this website will work.

The XV was dropped from the Crosstrek line in 2016.  Everything after that is just a Crosstrek.
Car has not been seen yet. So I do not know if it will be the same or not.
Thanks for the quick reply.  I'll wait a few months and check back then.

I just traded my 2015 Crosstrek w/PTS for a 2018.  The 2018 Crosstrek is all new but directly based of the 2017 Impreza which is Subaru's first model to have the new "Global Platform".  I may take a stab at installing an EVO-ONE using the 2017 Impreza guide and report back.

FYI...  I was able to use the 2017 Impreza PTS wiring guide and flash for my 2018 Crosstrek PTS.  Everything was the same in the diagrams as the pinouts and wire colors matched exactly.  No problems programming either.  I used an EVO-ALL to interface my Viper starter w/ 2-way & Smartstart from my 2015 Crosstrek, however the EVO-ONE will work just fine.  I suspect the regular key Crosstrek would be the same as the 2017 Impreza regular key.

I just traded in my Toyota Tundra for a 2018 Crosstrek. It's the regular key, not PTS. I pulled my Evo One out of the Tundra before trading in, bought the Thar-one-sub1 wire harness, and Flashlink 2.0 (Evo One came preprogrammed for Tundra). Hoping to install it this weekend. Thanks for reporting back on the 2017 Impreza guide working. Luckily I saved all of the wires from my Tundra install and was able to switch out all the wires I needed.
