2007 Kia Sedona EX

I am trying to install a EVO-One with THAR-ONE-KHY1 T-Harness & 641W Remotes. In the installation guide it states to connect  C1 (CAN2HIGH) and C2 (CAN2LOW) to pins 6 and 14 of the OBD-II connector. My vehicle only has pins at 3,4,5,8,12, & 16. I know generally if you dont have 6 & 14 you can opt for 3 & 11, but I dont have 11. What do I need to do?

Likeswise none of the wiring appears to match my vehicle.  C3 & C4 (CAN1HIGH/LOW) is supposed to be located in the drivers side kick panel. I have no such plug.

Lastly the PATS DATA A20 clearly shows what it connects to, but A10 is above it with a dotted line that states cut. Cut what? From my perspective it looks like A10 and D4 are merely connected together unless Im reading it wrong.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi josh, We have been speaking through email...I sent you more information on how to cut a wire and connect it.

Also on what you need to do for the non existing can bus wires.

I'm in a similar situation, installing an EVO-One on a 2008 Sedona. Can you please post what to do w/ the non existing CAN bus wires. I don't have the CAN1 High/Low (white & black twisted pair) either.

FIXED:

The black & white twisted pair is said to be at the kick panel but thats kind of vague. They are actually at the connector goin to the door boot, through a very small access hole. A long screwdriver or similar wil be needed to release the clip, can't reach it by hand.

Also, this is a NA model and despite having a chipped key and all the wiring for an immobilizer the system actually does not utilize it. Once the EVO was flashed appropiately it programmed fine.
If you do not have the can bus wires at pins 6 & 14 you would need to hardwire the brake wire from the evo to the car and then set the module to tachless mode (option 20 mode 2).

If your vehicle has power door locks then the can-bus wires have to be in the drivers kick panel. As this twisted pair of  white & black wires is the communication bus for the power door lock system from the switch/module in the drivers door.
Hi Derek. I am having trouble installing on my Kia Sedona 2010. I have the evo one, the T-Harness and following the guide # 60791.

The unit was programming fine, but the car would not remote start. When I pressed 3x the lock button on the factory remote, the blue light flashed 3x, the the red went solid, and I could rear noises on the dash, but the car would not crank. During this process, the little red programming little would flashes many times.

I decided to try with different versions of the firmware (I was using the newest and the manual says to use the 76.31). Well, during this upgrade and downgraded tests, I finally got the message saying the unit reached the limit number of updates. The unit current is on version 76.31.

Now, the unit does not programm step 4 properly. Instead of only the blue light flashing, both blue and red or blue and yellow flash together before yellow and red going solid. If I keep thru the next steps, in the last step sometimes the yellow light flashes, but other times the red light flashes. Either way the car does not remote start and all that thing described before happens.
