Blue light won't flash with key at "ON" position!?

0 votes
I can not get the blue light to flash when I insert the key in the ignition and turn to "ON" position. Are there any other wires I need to wire-in manually for this product to work or should I be able to simply "plug&play"? I have a 2015 Jeep Compass and only want to install stand alone remote start function.

The t-harness has two wires dangling, a PPURPLE and a YELLOW wire.

As per connection C of the install guide. You need to connect the YELLOW wire from the evo-all 20-pin connector to the t-harness YELLOW wire.

There will also be the GREEN/RED from the 20-pin connector that you will need to wire to the PURPLE wire of the T-harness.

I have attached those wires. However, I have programmed the module and the vehicle still will not remote start. With all pins inserted and the blue light on... insert key turn to ignition/on, blue light flashes, take key out, press lock button, blue light turns out... press the lock button X3 and nothing happens. Is there another step I'm missing?

Don't hit lock too fast. It takes a bit less than 1 sec per lock command to actually show up individually on the vehicles Can-Bus.

If you did a master reset at any point, this would set back the options for 3x lock start back to default. Thus needing to re-enable them.

Make sure the DARK BLUE wire the 20-pin is not grounded. When in stand alone mode for 3xlock start, this wire is a hood trigger input. When grounded, this prevents the unit from remote starting. Also make sure the hood actually closed.

If you want to know if the unit is actually setup properly for 3xlock start, you can do the following two tests:

  1. ground the DARK BLUE wire. If the RED led turns on, the unit is not set for 3xlock start.
  2. ground the YELLOW/BLACK wire, if the RED LED turns on and the vehicle starts, the unit is setup properly and it may just be a question of hitting lock too fast and/or you didn't program the unit correctly.
I am having the same issues, please help, my car is a 2006 g35 infinite(s.n=002b04 013259) with an (evo one all in one).
