2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagon TDI Remote Start Option(s)

Looking to see if there is a system I can order for my 2012 Jetta Sportwagon TDI. This is a standard key vehicle. I think countries other than the US called this vehicle a Golf Sportwagon, but I could be mistaken.

Hello Derek,

Thank you for the reply.  I do have a "Jetta" according to Volkswagen of USA so that is what I will look at for hardware/accessories.

I'm having a hard time understanding the difference between the EVO ALL vs EVO ONE.  The EVO ONE is a "high" current, so is that what I should go with because I have a standard key and not a push button start?

If I go with the EVO ONE do I need any other modules to remote start the vehicle (other than the FlashLink Module to program)?  Within the Advanced Features (on the Compatible Solutions page) there is a Stand Alone Remote Starter section.  Under the EVO ALL it states: "The module can start the vehicle without using any additional hardware..."  Where under the EVO ONE it states: "N/A"

Again I would like to confirm that either the EVO ONE and or EVO ALL will be compatible with a diesel.  Is there a time that can be set for glow plugs heat cycle?

Thank you for your time,

James S

As long as the vehicle is automatic tranmission you can used the following for remote start:

- evo-vwt3

- flash link updater

The evo-all (evo-vwt3) does have a option you enable for diesel vehicles. It will not allow you to select the specific amount of time for delay, it is pre set at roughly 7 seconds.
