EVo won't bypass key unless purple white wire grounded for split second

Question

2012 Ford Edge 80bit key. Installed viper smart start and remote start. Had to do w2w because of smart start module interfering with Evo-all. Car starts in d2d mode without smart start module. When in w2w I have to ground purple/white wire for one second after initialization and release before it starts. Now the guide mentions grounding unlock wire and hooking another unlock wire to purple white but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

What a nightmare. The orange wire from the evo does not get grounded. Everything will work in w2w mode the door locks are tricky because they don't get connected as per guide as well. This vehicle did not have an alarm, but would not function without the wires being hooked up as if it did have one. Again, do not ground orange wire. And a double pulse unlock in evo settings was required as well.
