No the obd2 cans cannot be used. The vehicle has a security gateway.

If the module doesnt program, ensure you have flashed it with firmware 69.02. If it still doesnt flash at step 5 of programming, then you have a problem with the can hi & lo connetions.

it was loaded with 69.02, but reflashed it with 69.02 again to be sure. rewired all can high/low connections, same issue. Had this been installed on any 2020 Durangos to date? Its seems as the evo ia mot getting any signal from the can bus system. 13hrs, almost 2 Saturdays gone, getting frustrating.
It has been confirmed as working.

Did you test your can wires yet?

What readings did you get on which wires at the evo-all 5 pin can connector?

We also have a support number you could call....1-877-336-7797 might get your issue resovled faster.

I just installed this on my 2020 Durango today and it works for me. Turns the A/C on to LO automatically, but it does start. DId you get it figured out?

I turned off the A4 option and it took care of my A/C option.
No bud, I wish I had. They have really great customer support, but I was not pulling out the CAN bus a third time. Glad you got it, I must have had the can bus wires backwards, but I would have put my life on it I had it correct. no check engine lights came on, so I didnt break the vehicle thankfully.
That stinks. That wiring up in the dash was a pain. Glad I got it the first time. Have a good one.

Just out of curioisty, how in the heck did you get to splice the Can Bus High/Low? I'm working on one and I can't even reach in there to access it and the wires are pretty short to even disconnect the plug from the block to splice them.

I removed the 2 bolts holding in the can bus, unclipped them from the holder, and pulled them separately out the bottom of the dash. there maybe 1 clip holding the wires you'll have to pull to give more slack.
