2011 Silverado entered Theft Mode, help.

0 votes
I connected the Evo All remote start to my 2011 Chevy Silverado Crew Bad. I was finally able to get it to fire up once by hitting lock three times on my manufacturer key fob. Then when I went to try again it didn't work, and so I tried the key and it went into theft mode.

I have been trying to get it out of theft mode all morning. I killed my battery but am charging it now. I am wondering is there a detailed setting I overlooked? I am pretty sure I have a chipped key, should I have selected premium instead of standard key?

Do I have to try to restart the whole process once I can fire my truck back up?

check the 2 Amp DLIS fuse, Discret Logic Ignition Switch. normally Fuse # 35 underhood.

Ignition On 3-10 minutes normally resets GMs when they are on theft mode. Your owners manual will have the proper procedure for your specific vehicle.
