What does "OEM REmotes only functional while vehicle is at rest" mean?

I am looking to buy and install a Evo - One for my Kia 2012 sportage Standard Key. There is an installation note of "OEM remotes only functional while the vehicle is at rest" What exactly does this mean? Will the key fob still work to unluck the doors once the vehicle has been remoted started, or do you have to use the key in the door lock?

It means once the car has been remote started the lock and unlock buttons on your OEM remote will not function. So you cannot unlock the car or shut it down via the remote. You have to manually put the key in the door to unlock it.

RF kit is recommended.

it means your remote does not work for lock-unlock or to cancel the remote start sequence once the car is remote started.

Typically, on those cars we will not list 3xlock as compatible, use an RF-KIT.
