My truck has no factory keyfob - no factory remote start/keyless entry/power door locks.

Which Fortin product will allow standalaone remote start of my vehicle?

If you don't have a factory keyfob you will need a seperate RFKIT to remote start the vehicle.

You will need EVO-FORT4 and an RFKIT.

You will need 2 working keys to program the module

Can I use an EVO-FORT1, what is the difference?
Yes you can use the fort4

Only difference is the fort4 has an obd2 connector that is part of the t-harness which means less spliced connections to be made in the vehicle. Fort1 one does not have this additional connector.

Thanks for the clarification Derek, one last question about this statement "You will need 2 working keys to program the module".

My keys are dumb keys, no buttons, just a plain key you can take to the store and get copied if you lose one.  They unlock the door manually and start the truck, that's it.

So what role do they play in programming the module?  I will only be starting the truck remotely from the RFkit.

Your keys "should" have a transponder chip in them.

Can you post a picture of your factory keys please?
