Why do doors show open on Evo start app? Evo one

Question

Starter seems to be working properly and starts when using factory remote 3 clicks with sacrificial key inside the vehicle. The app is showing voltage and temperature from the vehicle but it also shows that all 4 doors are red as if they are open.  Start function and lock/unlock work but I cannot stop the engine from the app screen.  Am I missing something?

Hello,

The doors are red when the vehicle is disarmed/unlocked.

To stop the vehicle once it is running in the app and the fan is spinning simply hold the start button a 2nd time to send remote stop.

Unfortunately doors still show red after I lock through the app or through the key fob.  I don't believe I see any fan spinning. Upon further inspection I found the unit did talk back once and tell the app the doors were closed so they were not red but when I remote started from the app I could not stop it as the start button did not change. After that I would have no two-way connection and I could not start stop the vehicle or lock or unlock

With that description it sounds to me like the 2 units have not been properly paired together.

Also try logging out, fully closing the app then re open and log back in. Settings>account managment>Log out.

Thanks that's did it.  We actually called the service line earlier today and a great tech walked us through the pairing process and it seems to be working now.  Functions as it should I believe.   Does not show fuel level and milage is only 0.7 miles.  I realize now what you meant about the doors appear red when unlocked and actually appear open when open.  I also have some inactive buttons on the screen like for the trunk but they don't seem to work.  I may create another post for it but thanks for all your help.  I appreciate it.
