2014 Jeep JK Clutch bypass

0 votes
installing a push to start system with my 2014 jeep wrangler JK. I have managed to prove everything programmed well and was usable while the clutch was pushed in. The moment i released the clutch, my EVO-All displayed a RED LED and i had to reprogram for it to work. I suspect this is due to a clutch switch bypass that is required

Here are my questions

- I see a 5 pin relay that needs to be used but i also see a note that i can use the EVO-ALL relay?

- I'm also reading this relay will not allow cruise control. Is this true? If so, is there a way to bypass momentarily but keep the fortin programmed when bypass is not engaged? I would like to install a switch to disable the clutch bypass when the vehicle is being serviced or for use with cruise control.

Please help

You can not use the relay from the EVOALL for clutch bypass. You must wire the relay has shown in the vehicle wiring diagram http://www.wirecolor.com/en/vehicles/jeep_wrangler_-_standard-key_(2012-2018)/

Are you able to help confirm if this is what is causing my Evo All to show a Red LED once the clutch is released?

And for the clutch relay diagram, you're suggesting to use this one?

You can not use EVOALL in standalone configuration on a manual transmission vehicle. What you are trying to do will not work. You need a seperate manual transmission compatible remote starter or an EVOONE.
