2018 Toyota Sienna push to start- Unable to program Evo-One (step 4)

0 votes
I have the Evo-one installed in a 2018 Toyota Sienna with push to start. On step 4, push start button twice to turn on ignition, there is no response from the evo. The blue led remains lit and fails to flash. I have checked the wiring and the evo is flashed to the recommended versions. Thanks for your suggestions.

Can you check the voltage on the ignition wire to see if you get 12 volts when you push the button to start?

Thank you for steering me in the right direction. The wire tap was not fully seated on the ignition wire. This unfortunately leads me to another question.

Now that the unit is programmed per the instructions, pressing lock three times does not start the vehicle. The evo responds to each lock signal then shows red while several clicks can be heard. I did continue to monitor the ignition wire during this time and it showed 0V.

After finding what happened to the ignition wire tap, I went back and verified that each of the other taps were fully engaged, which they are.

Thank you again for your help.

The module is currently set up for a for f-150. This can be seen hrere: http://fortin.ca/en/support/002b02144642/

Please verify it is set up and flashed for the correct vehicle it is going into.

Thanks, I have two units and of course I referenced the wrong one... The Evo I am putting into the Sienna is 002B07144641. Which is showing correctly flashed to the Sienna.
Verify you have ignition present on the yellow wire (A1) when you turn the ignition on. If blue light is staying on, this would be your issue.
When the ignition is on, there is 13v present. When using the evo to remote start, there is 0v. There are no leds lit until I remote start, then only the red stays lit. 0v on the ignition during that time.
