RF 642W Unit w/ EVO One Not Working

0 votes
Programmed the RF642W remotes with Evo One for 2006 Nissan Armada utilizing harness that came with the RF642W remotes (black wire to ground, red wire to 12V battery tap), black 4 pin data link into EVO one and blue data antenna from harness into RF unit. Went through the process and thought the remotes were programmed however vehicles will not unlock/lock with the remotes. When pressing unlock/lock button EVO one module flashes with blue LED

The adapter should not be used with evo-one. Only evo-all.

Remove the adapter plug the antenna into the blue port and follow the programming using the valet switch: http://cdn.fortin.ca/download/68451/evo-one_qg_4boutons_en_a_68451.pdf

Hopefully the unit has not been damaged due to this mis connection.

I removed the adapter plug from the module and did as manual suggests, however I cannot get past step 2 which the parking lights turn on and horn/siren chirp. I've attempted to use the valet switch and the see that it is receiving the signal as the LED next to the yellow loop (i've cut) flashes red.
on the BACK side of the unit, where that yellow loop is, look for a flashing red led on the module once your reach step 2 of the programming.

Similarly, if that red led is already flashing slowly, it means the unit is in an armed state. You will need to disarm it before doing programming as it will lock you out of programming. To disarm it, since no remotes are programmed yet, use the valet button to go in and out of valet mode. (last page of the guide derek has linked)
Thanks guys. Was able to get it to work.
