2017 Tiguan PTS, Evo-All stand alone no start, lock/unlock work fine

+1 vote
Dycrypting and all other steps complete sucessfully, remote (RF642W) locks and unlocks the doors.

3 locks with the factory remote, or using the remote the car doesn't crank or anything.

Brake lights come on as expected and the evo-all goes through what appears to be a normal sequence.

Evo-all flashes red 3 times, which might be missing tach signal?  Isn't that taken care of over CAN?

EVOALL says tach signal because the engine didn't start. If you leave a key inside the vehicle does the vehicle start ?

Take a look at your start/stop connection and diodes.

The vehicle still won't start with a key left inside.

The start/stop connection is in the T-harness (manually connected to pink/black or something like that on the EvoAll, I don't have the sheet in front of me)

I did not use any diodes, is that part of the problem?
