MUX relay required on challenger?

0 votes
Two issues, maybe related to the same answer.

Installed EVO-with CHRT-6 in standalone mode, honk 3x's.  When using the remote start it triggers a check engine light, pulling the code indicates the Brake Module is detecting a signal when it should not., 0415 antilock brake invalid signal

I am assuming this has to do with the MUX wire.  Does the push to start challenger 2016 up require a mux relay?

Can I follow the same wiring as mentioned in another thread?

Next, just to confirm vehicle take over.  When using remote start about 15 minutes after driving, the car rolls the drivers window down partially, turns on the interior lights and dispalys a door open chime and popup on screen.  It is very consistant at 15 minutes which i know is the run time for my module.  I am wondering if what I am doing is wrong for vehicle take over, or if the mux/check engine light are related to this issue.

Currently, honk three times, car starts, after running a bit I enter the vehicle, note has touch sense doors to unlock, i put my foot on the brake, put in drive and go.  Fifteen minutes later the car does above as discribed.

What year is the vehicle ? What is the service number on the module ?

Mathieu,

Sorry it has been so long to get back to this issue due to cold winters.

service number on module 001A06 726352,

2016 dodge challenger with push to start.

So basically we didn't use the remote start at all.  A check engine light comes on an the code on the vehicle is detecting Brake ABS issue.  But if we don't use the remote start, after two cycles of the vehicle starting with push button on dash the cel will go away.

So I am assuming either the can bus is getting a rogue signal or mux or something is sending a signal to the body pc when it thinks it should or should have have a signal.
Flash firmware 74.18, re program including drcyptor and re test.

This should solve your abs light issue.
finally had access to vehicle again as it is not mine.  Issue is still present.  0415 ABS obdII causing check engine light.

Reflashed to 74.18, but you are stating to relearn the decryptor as well?? Why would it need this?
figured it out, when I bought the unit in 2017, just before christmas the Online manual says to connect the Pink and Black wire to the Purple wire on the BCM.  HOWEVER, when I went to reflash my module i noticed a revised manual, which now specifically calls out the challenger.  Looking at it, it shows the pink and black not connected.  I pulled that wire off and now check engine light does not come on.
