Evo All with Compustar ANT-2WSP antenna and two way remote

Please help - I purchased a vehicle with a Fortin Evo All using a Compustar ANT-2WSP as long range antenna with the Slice Jr. Two way remote. I recently had to have some minor body work done a windshield replacement and when I picked the car up, the remote start nor the lock/unlock via the Compustar remotes or Fortin Evo All worked anymore. I assume the battery was disconnected. I purchased a Flash Link 2 module, have since gotten the Evo All working via the OEM remote lock x 3, but I am having no luck getting the Evo All to recognize / program the Compustar remotes. Install looks as follows: ANT-2WSP antenna on windshield, it plugs into an iDatalink 2CS, which then plugs into the Evo All. I can get into the programming mode for the Compustar remotes (Blue and red LED, turn ignition on, All LEDs on) but when I try and program the remote to the EVO ALL by pressing the lock, unlock and holding the lock 3 secs for remote start, I get no confirmation on the Evo ALL (flashing Red & Blue LEDs). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

EDIT: All RF KIT selections are selected via the FlashLink 2 as prescribed from what I have found on this very helpful website.

Upon some further reasearch, it appears that the FT-D100 iDatalink module that connects the ANT-2WSP antenna to the EVO ALL may be flashed via the Firsttech ADS-USB. Would this be (possibly) the reason that the EVO ALL does not recognize the Compustar Slice Jr. remotes when going into the programming mode? Does the FT-D100 need to be flashed prior to using with the EVO ALL, or in my case, after each time the battery is disconnected?

If you remote were working before, the garage that made your repair probably damaged the antenna cable that is running around the windshield.

Inspect the antenna cable and I'm pretty sure you will find the problem. The remotes does not unprogram by disconnecting the battery, something else happened. If they cut the cable they might a shorted wires together and damaged either the antenna or the EVOALL.

Okay - I looked at the antenna, the wire all the way from the plug at the antenna down to the idatalink module and don't see anything awry. Appreciate the answer. If I were to just say to heck with it and buy a Fortin RF kit, is there one that works better with the Evo All than another? Esentially just want a longer range remote/antenna combo, preferably with some sort of feedback would be nice. I am going to try and reprogamr the remote again and make sure I can't get it to work since I did a master reset on the Evo All, and have it working fine with the OEM remote (lock x 3 to start).

If you did a reset, make sure H6 is enabled for the FT-D100 to work correctly.

Any of our remotes ending in 2W will allow 2-way notification that the car is running.

It would be option H2 that would need to be on unlike the H6 for the FT-D100.

Before I give up completely on having the compustar rf remotes I have to work again - do I need to have to oem remotes disabled? Can the Evo All work with both the oem remote and an rf kit at the same time? Thinking back to when they did work the remote starter, I don’t think the oem remotes would start the car if I hit lock three or more times.

 

Also looking at the Fortin RF Kit FTX-64-2W - is the RF ALL the same thing as the RFA2A? I think the EVO ALL on my Prius doesn't have a T-harness, so if I went this route it looks like the RF ALL would plug into the 4 pin Data Link slot on the EVO ALL, then the antenna into the blue female connector. Just trying to make sure that I don't need the RF ALL instead of the RFA2A before I purchase. Also, with this setup, would the OEM remotes still remote start the car as well?
