2010 Honda Element with Evo-One, separate remote starter needed?

0 votes
This is confusing, since 3x lock remote start isn't compatible with any Honda vehicles,

but once you put Honda Element 2010 as your vehicle,
http://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/honda/element/2010/

and scroll down to  Remote Starters features, there is a green check mark under Evo-One.

Can I program my original key fobs to remotely start the car with Evo-One or do I need a separate remote starter module?

If I do need a separate remote starter module, then what is the advantage of Evo-One over other immobilizers?

Thanks

EVO-ONE is a high current remote starter / alarm (optional) and immobilizer module with Can-Bus drivers integrated into it. You can use 3x Lock with only 1 module in any vehicles we can detect the oem through Can-Bus.

EVO-ONE 3x LOCK start vehicles can be found here : https://fortin.ca/en/features/3x_lock_remote_starter_%28evo-one%29.html

Honda vehicles by factory the remote does not work while the engine is running. This means that even by remote start, the factory remote does not work once the car is running. I'd personnaly recommend adding an RF-KIT with aftermarket remotes.

3x Lock is not functional on the Honda Element 2010.

Thank you for the suggestion, but my question still remains:

do I need a separate remote starter unit or Evo-One is all that I need?

Thanks
EVO-ONE is a built in remote starter and bypass all in one unit, as mentionned. 3x lock start does not work on the 2010 Element. You would need an RF-KIT with the EVO-ONE, not a remote start unit.

If you want to use a separate remote starter unit, a bypass module such as the Honda-SL3, EVO-ALL, Key-override-all is what you need
Many thanks!!!
