How do I program the EVO-ONE if my key start vehicle was converted to push to start?

I have a 2017 Kia Sedona (automatic transmission) that got broken into. The criminal trashed the ignition system. Rather than replace it, I converted it using the Ghost Key by JDI. The button works as follows: wave the key fob over the antenna, then push the start button once. This turns on the radio. Pushing the start button a second time turns on the gauges. A third press will turn everything off. To start the vehicle, wave the key fob over the antenna, put your foot on the brake, and press the start button. I have everything installed according to the install guide (here), but when I get to the programming section on page 5 (program 2 without EMS com wire) I get stuck on number 4. I've tried pushing the start button (single and double push) and starting the vehicle, but the light never flashes. I just stays solid blue or turns off completely. Should I use the program sequence for the push to start model or is there another way of programming the module?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

If the blue led goes out when ignition is turned on but it does not flash, this would indicate an issue with the can bus wires.

If the blue led does not go out when ignition is turned on, this means the evo is not seeing ignition on either the large pink wire on the main 6 pin connector or small yellow wire on the 20 pin connector.

Best regards.

Thanks so much. I inspected the can wires and found that the CAN1 high and low were on the wrong wires. There are 3 sets of red and blue wires all in the same cluster. I connected to the correct wires and everything worked as it should.

Thank you!
