When programming RED and BLUE light are solid

0 votes
I am trying to program the EVO one with EVO Start with a THAR-ONE-TOY1 harness on a 2009 FJ Cruiser,  The instructions indicate that once the RED light is solid to let go of the Reset button,  However after restrating this process a few times I continously get a solid Red and Blue light and nothing changes when I insert the key.  Any ideas on what the issue maybe

2009 FJ cruiser programming is release on "red" led, I believe you are releasing too late and ending up at "red and blue" which is a completely different programming mode.

The leds on the evo one should cycle, BLUE, RED, YELLOW, then RED/Blue.

Also very important, with everything unplugged from the Evo-One, press and hold the programming button, plug in the 20 Pin connector FIRST,  Then the main 6 pin power connector and release on RED led.

This is all assuming that all connections are correct to the vehicle's RX,TX and key sense wires.

You will also need to set Fuction 2 to mode 4 and Function 20 to mode 2 on the remote starter side.

It looks to have worked correctly this time around as I didn;t wait for the lights to actually stop permantly on RED like you had suggested.  However  the EVO START I thought I had programmed correctly, it has a constant ORANGE light when key is off and my EVO APP does nothing at all.

When I Look at the EVO ONE I can see a red light where the Manual loop is but nothing on the three RED/YELLOW/BLUE.  Is this normal.

I have activated the APP with the Activation code.  It doesn't look like it is connecting.
