Disarm timing?

+1 vote
2010 VW GTI manual transmission. Used CM7200 and Evo-all(used a firmware recommended by Flash Link Manager).

Followed exactly on Evo-all guide #11161.

Wrapped valet key and remote started, worked fine for the first 2 times.

Aftrer that, instrument panel shows "key not in range" and failed remote start.

I cut wires off of wrapped key and used relay instead. 85 - 12v, 86 - status(gwr), 30 and 87 to wrapped key.

Since then, everything worked fine.

The customer now telling me that once every 3~4 times of remote start usage, car does this.

- Remote starts activates, door unlocks, honks. car did not disarm

- Then, as soon as car starts, factory alarm shuts off. Then door locks, car keeps running.

This sounds like timing issue. Is there any fix for this? Can I use 86 negative ignition output instead of status(gwr)?

in Evo-all option?
EVO-ALL and remote starter. Wherever it's turned On at the moment.
I did not turn on anything.

1 question. I wired purple, purple/white to compustar orange, orange/white which are arm/disarm wires. Do you think this caused car to unlock door before start? Should I wire purple, purple/white to lock/unlock wires instead?
i always use lock and unlock. No reason to use arm-disarm, and yes, disarm normally will pulse before remote starting.
Thanks. switching to lock/unlock solved problem.

Car remote starts and runs without triggering its factory alarm.

But now there is another problem.

Factory alarm triggers when customer is not using remote starter and wants to open the doors. As soon as the customer hits unlock button, its factory alarm gets triggered.

What is wrong with this now? Firmware issue?

For now I told the customer to use factory keyfob when car is not remote started.
can you please answer this question?

To do disarm, you need to have the remote starter pulse ignition and transponder on unlock. We cannot control disarm through the Can-Bus. Most remote starter have a programming option for this as it's also required on most Ford vehicles. Basically, the only way to disarm the vehicle is by pulsing ignition and the transponder bypass at the same time when doing unlock.

Compustar has an option to pulse ignition when unlock. But I used a relay setup for transponder key wrap.  Because key wrapping method on the guide did not work. Should I use ignition(-) instead of gwr(-)?
Nevermind, I will just run disarm wire into the driver side door and use a resistor(180ohms) on green/white at the door module.
