Without transponder Toyota Yaris 2007

0 votes

Hello, I need assistance. I don't have a transponder in my Toyota Yaris 2007. I have two black car keys, one of which is a 3-button remote. I selected Function 2-4 and Function 20-2. I installed the "without keyless" 2007 Yaris mod. I disconnected the yellow wires and connected the white one to the start input. During programming, I used the 3-button key, but the red light remains steady. The car isn't working; it only activates the any lights, and the lights flash irregularly. The device is "Evo One 2016" Ftx64-2w.

Hello,

Since your vehicle does not have a transponder, you would do just can bus programming, the programming would be as follows:

1- let go on the blue led

2- plug in all connectors

3- turn key on the blue led should flash rapidly

4- turn key off it should go out

At this point you could program the rf kit to the evo-one.

Best regards.

Should the key be in the on position while programming?

And should the 6-pin connector connections remain as they are (normal installation) because some things seem to change when you make it fonction 2/4?
In my reply above step 3 says to turn key on, the key should not be on or in the ignition prior to step 3.

Yes leave the 6 pin as shown in the installation guide and select the appropriate option per your installation guide.
I tried this way too and after 3 steps, the blue LED continues to glow steadily in the on position.
If the blue led does not flash rapidly when ignition is turned on you would want to check the following connections:

1- Ignition

2- Can hi

3- Can lo

Best regards.
