Security indicator flashes a long time & yellow light doesn't turn off

2016 Mazda 3 Fortin EVO-MAZT1 Stand-Alone add-on

So when I go to start the programming the first time I turn the car on like the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ETmJn9RIlE&feature=youtu.be) the security indicator flashes quickly for about 30 seconds.  if I turn it on a 2nd time like in the video the security indicator light is only on for a few seconds like it's supposed to.

If I wait to turn off the car until after the security indicator stops flashing then the yellow light does not turn off.

if I only wait the 3-5 seconds and turn off the car the yellow light will turn off and the security indicator will flash quickly for the 2nd key also. and the yellow light will turn off but the red and yellow lights don't start flashing and it doesn't turn on and off the car.

I have tried removing the batteries from the key fobs and trying that but I might have messed that up and will try that again.

is the hood pin and wiring required for programming? because I haven't hooked that up yet.

EVO-ONE + THAR-ONE-MAZ3 would have been soo much simpler.

Here are some suggestions.

1. Batteries out of remote will definitly help

2. make sure that both remotes, without any batteries, can actually start the car when holding the remote up next to the button.

3. the remote should only be present in front of the button when ignition is turned on. Do not leave it there afterwards (like in the video)

4. if vehicle battery is under 12.4V, programming will not work correctly.

5. since you already have a failed dcryptor attempt, be sure to reset the evo https://fortin.ca/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

6. if all keyslots are taken up in the bcm, this programming and solution will not work.

What are the advatages of the EVO One + Thar one-maz3 to the one I got?
Programming is A LOT simpler.

Vehicle does not shut down when opening a door after remote starting it.

EVO-ONE can be also be used as an alarm.  (extra connections required).

More flexibility as it offers an AUX output to control things like rear defrost (extra connections required).

unrelated to you, but it supports manual transmission vehicles.
You are amazing Thank you.

I switched to the EVO-ONE with the THAR ONE-MAZ3 it took me like 20 minutes including running it through the programing.
Excellent, thanks for the update!
