evoone with rf5c to evostart

hello a customer wants to upgrade her system to the mobile i know rf5c is not compatible and that i will need to remove it. but what do i need to do afterward to make the system work with evostart

Ok thats a long anwser... be ready!

 

First, make sure the EVO-ONE Remote-Starter side is updated to the latest version.

 

Second, do a Remote-Starter side Master Reset:

  1. Turn ignition on
  2. Press and hold valet switch until parking lights turn on (or red led under the yellow loop begins to flash)
  3. Press and release the valet switch 23 times
  4. Press and release the brake pedal once
  5. Press and hold valet switch for 5 seconds. Pakring lights will flash to confirm.
  6. Turn the ignition off (park lights will flash 4 times to confirm exiting programming).

 

Third, Force the EVO-ONE into the EVO-START protocol :

  1. Go into FLASH-LINK-MANAGER 3.62 or higher
  2. Click TOGGLE to switch to remote starter connection mode.
  3. Plug in the EVO-ONE with provided DATALINK cable.
  4. Click Configuration Menu and then Unit Options.
  5. Select FORTIN 2 , click SAVE, wait for the window to close by itself and disconnect the EVO-ONE.

 

Last, but not least, Program the EVO-START to the EVO-ONE:

  1. Connect the 6-PIN EVO-START harness (Black connector) in to the antenna. The LED Blue will alternate between 1 flashes and a pause.
  2. Press and release the Antenna button. The Blue LED will alternate between 2 flashes and a pause.
  3. Press and hold the Antenna button until the LED turn ON Green.
  4. Turn the Ignition ON, Press and hold the valet switch until the parking lights turn ON, the horn/siren will chirp.
  5. Press and release the valet switch five time. The parking lights will flash and the horn/siren will chirp each time to confirm.
  6. Press and release the brake pedal once.
  7. The EVO-START antenna will flash blue rapidly.
  8. Press and hold the Antenna button until the LED turn ON Green. The parking lights will flash to confirm.
  9. If you have FMH Remotes (FTX64, FTX44, FTX75...ETC), program them now.
  10. Turn the Ignition OFF to exit programming mode.
  11. The module is now programmed.
