Remote start was working - suddenly stopped - 2015 Kia Optima

0 votes
As stated everything was working fine, noticed a couple of weeks ago that I now cannot remotely start the car.  No changes that I can think of.

I have tried slowing down the button pushes and increasing them - no luck.  I made the module visible and there are no lights - lighting up on any of the clicks/horn beeps.  (Not sure if that is normal).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The yellow led on the module should turn on when ignition is on.

If it's not look for loose connection, bad ground.

Wanted to follow this up.  It was the inline 5amp fuse on the main power red wire.  Not sure how nor why it blew, but after about a month, I have a working remote start again!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction (power).
Having the same problem with the fuse blowing. Could it be because the lights are being left on for daytime lights at start up? Do the lights need to be off at start up?
