2017 Mazda CX9 Push To Start

Unit Wired up as per guide 65561

Using Evo-ALL & THAR-MAZ2

Unit responds via LED's all as per instructions
When sending Data to Dcryptor it appears to show no progress even after 1 hour

Have updated Remote Start to V1.21 however after update flashlin kmanager freezes at EVO UPDATE SUCCESSFULL. Flashlink Manager red and & green are solid. Blue is blinking. No lights on EVO-ONE.

If i disconnect and reconnect it goes to Bypass mode. Running V71.43, if i click Flash it tries to flash unit and then says unit discconnected - EVO RED led is flashing, Flashlink Red LED is Solid. I have to discconect and reconnect to get it to appear in flashlink manager again

After flashing remote starter or bypass you always need to disconnect the module and reconnect to the flashlink updater.

When connected to the bypass side, hit the Dcryptor tab and click Send Data.

Any suggestion as to why the Remote Start module says 1.20 on the service check? But on flashlink says 1.21 down the bottom, but on main evo page says 1.20?
It is like it isnt updating properly....

As long as it says  " Firmware Version: 1.21 " under the EVO-ONE Satus tab you are good to go.

(ignore the firmware version in this pic)

it doesnt and wont update
The Evo-One in your particular vehicle will work fine with either 1.20 or 1.21 on the remote starter side.

Can you list step by step how you are trying to flash the remote starter firmware?

Example:

step 1, Open FLM, connect FLU-2, click on toggle button to switch to "connection mode:remote starter"

step 2. Connect Evo-One to FLU-2...etc

Thank you,

The updates are done though the EVO-ONE Updates tab.

Thanks,

Managed to get the unit working after connecting to another computer it uploadedthe key data and received Dcryptor info back

Remote start now works.....

However i do have an issue in that if i remote start i cannot unlock the car to get into it.

I have to wait for the remote starter timer to turn off teh car and then i am able to use my remote to get in....
Any suggestion son how to overcome this?
remotes should stay functional on this vehicle (unless trying to use a key that was added to the vehicle AFTER it was delivered).

Whic install did you follow? 1-key programming or 2-key programmin?

Tried another computer and was able to send data and verify fw 1.21 installed.
