Delay in starting?

0 votes
I read that there is a delay in starting with the EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL because they are programmed for diesel engines, as well. Is this true? If so, can this delay be turned on? I want the ignition and start circuits energized the second the unit receives the start input.

Actually, there is only a delay if the evo units are programmed for "diesel" mode, the delay is there to let the glow plugs heat up before the vehicle cranks over.

The evo units do not come pre-set for diesel mode, this needs to be turned on.

Thank you,

It's not too bad.  It's only a few seconds.  Don't know if you can change that
