Parking Light Flash on lock/unlock w/ EVO-ONE & NIS2?

0 votes
I've got the wires hooked up according to the picture in WreColor for the parking light, and have the pink wire running to pin A12 in the 20 pin connector per the instructions in guide RF642W.  I've also got the remaining wires hooked up per the diagrams (although the horn wire is red not brown according to the Nissan shop manual - and the measurements/install success).  The wire test 12 volts when the parking lights are turned on.  In reading other posts there are discussions about the need for a relay to change polarity - nothing is mentioned in the guide... Do I need to add a relay, and what is the proper wiring? and if not what do I need to do to troubleshoot? - didn't see anything in the trouble shooting guides on line...

Please disconnect the pink wire from the 20 pin connnector ASAP, this is a negative output wire, and as you've described you have found a "positive" parking light wire.

You will NEED a relay to convert the polarity of the pink parking light output wire from negative to positive.

Thank you,
