EVO ALL correctly programmed?

0 votes
Hello

I am putting an evo all bypass in d2d mode with a prostart ct3271. 2010 accord manual

Last step of programming says..." the evo the blue led will flash rapidly (can bus programmed)-Remove the key from the ignition-blue light turns off'

This all worked great but the red light STAYS ON after the blue light goes out. Is it programmed correctly?

No this is not normal, make sure the blue wire is connected to the white wire or the prostart (activation output).

Hello Mathieu thanks for the help.

as per the evo wiring diagram the blue wire from the evo is connected to (-) auto lights off at the parking light switch connector of the accord.

more info-the evo is flashed for d2d mode. is that the difference?
Please disconnect this blue wire it is not necessary for the programming.
Was the diode installed on the wire going to the autolights? If the diode is not installed, the feedback from the autolight wire will turn on the evo-all (red light turns on) the GWR from the remote starter is being used to do 2 things in this guide, 1. To turn on the evo-all, 2. To make sure that the autolights do not turn on.
Thanks guys I wired it all up with the diode installed. All working as advertised now.

Another question.

I am now only using the data link cable for power and ground. everything else is hard wired.

Is it necessary to re-flash the module in non-D2D mode? then connect the red and black wire to power/grnd seperatly as the diagram indicates?

Or should I just leave it since it's working.
if you are hardwired you should cut the blue and red white wires in the datalink cable. Yes you still can use the datalink port for power and ground.
