EVO ALL in d2d mode no lights

0 votes
I have an evo all with firmware 79.13 (d2d option selected). Going in a 2010 accord manual with a ct3271 R/S

during initial evo programming. I plug in the 4 pin data link cable while holding the programming button. no lights at all. connections are all made as per the evo-all, d2d, accord with manual wiring diagram. key is not in the ignition..should it be?  wondering if I am missing something or if there is an issue with the unit.

Thanks

At this point in the programming (mode selection) it only needs 2 things:

1. Properly flashed evo-all unit

2. 12v and ground on the black 4 pin connector

To find out where the issue is coming from, go back to the computer,

1. Open Flashlink Manager, look at the bottom right side of your screen, if it says, connection mode: bypass, then click on the TOGGLE button right above it until it says connection mode:remote starter

2. Push and hold programming button on evo unit, then plug in flashlink updater-2 connector, leds at this point should be cycling, red, yellow blue, blue/red, etc  If the evo unit flashes this way on the computer then the issue is in the vehicle, please verify 12v and ground are present at the black 4 pin connector.

If the unit does not flash on the computer as described above, then I would re-flash the firmware in the evo unit and try programming again.

Thank you,

Thank you,
