Evo-all kills remote start when passive entry door is opened.

2015 Dodge Ram 1500 with passive entry handle sensors and push to start. (W/Factory remote start)

EVO-ALL

CM 7200s

Drone smartphone module

When remote started with non oem remote the passive entry unlocks the door but the engine shuts off with the oem remote in my pocket. If the truck is started with the oem remote the system works fine.

if I start with the non oem remote and unlock with the non oem remote then it does not kill the engine.

So.. If I start with one system then I have to unlock with the same system...

Also if the car is unlocked and it is remote started it does not lock itself once started.

Please provide us with the service number underneath the Evo All module, it should start with OO1Axx-xxxxxx.

We will need that number to see how your evo-all is set-up, firmware, options, etc...

Also need to know if in datalink or wire-to-wire. If datalink which port is being used since you have a DRONE in there also?

Also if the car is unlocked and it is remote started it does not lock itself once started.

The CM7200 most likely has an option that can relock the doors once started. You can also just enable D2 in the EVO-ALL options.

As for the take-over, the evo-all needs to see an unlock command. If it does not, the vehicle will not continue to run. To confirm the evo-all is seeing an unlock signal, the BLUE LED on the module will flicker when you press unlock.

Not sure if you have seen it or not, but at the end of the installation guide (bottom of page 6), it explains how to operate the system (first step being the 2nd most important). EVO-ALL & THAR-CHR6 & Dodge RAM Pickup - Push-to-start (2013-2015) - Revision 20141210

Other than that, takeover has never been a problem on these trucks, the service number will help track the issue if something to do with how the options in the evo-all are set up.
