2012 Ford Mustang GT Auto EVO ALL with THAR-FOR1

+1 vote
I have installed the EVO all with the Thar1-For harness. The programming of the EVO all goes all as mentioned in the manual. But the remote start system does not work.

It states in the manual that you have to connect it the Orange wire from the 20pin EvoAll connector to the Ground running wire. Which wire is this ? Or can I just connect it to the car ground.

Next the SMJ box is in the passenger side of the vehicle. This means i have to run the wires from the SJB to the EvoAll.

Next, I cant seem to locate the 26 PIN connector in the car. I have however figured out that the Mustang does not have a 26pin connector.

Note that I am using this as a stand alone remote start (i.e. 3X remote start). But still the car does not remote start even after the programming.

Yes orange wire goes to chassis ground

You are right the SJB is in passenger kick panel in this car and it does not have the 26 connector, it is a mistake in the guide and will corrected soon. Visit http://wirecolor.com/en/vehicles/ford_mustang_(2010-2014)/ for correct information.

For the 3x lock to work you have to enable the function in your evoall. To do it you need the flashlink updater.
